My interest in paper folding began when I was given an origami book at an early age. That casual interest has grown over the years into a passion.

Examples of my work have been exhibited at several Origami USA national conventions as well as the Montclair (NJ) Public Library; the Bellevue Arts Fair at Lincoln Square in Bellevue, Washington; the Glen Rock (NJ) Public Library and an Origami Heaven exhibition at Stony Brook, New York. My work has also appeared in several publications including The Art of Origami, by Gay Merrill Gross, The Encyclopedia of Origami, by Nick Robinson and The New Encyclopedia of Origami & Papercraft Techniques by Ayako Brodek.

Other long term interests of mine are gardening, nature and Ikebana, the Japanese style of flower arranging. All of these interests in turn found their way into my origami. Today I fold mainly plants and flowers, often turning them into Japanese style arrangements. The work I exhibited at the Origami Heaven show in 2009 was exclusively plants and flower arrangements.

Origami is an evolving art. New designs are created everyday and old ones are rediscovered. I am grateful for all opportunities that allow me to contribute to the advancement of origami.
